Abstract

253,262. Parkes, T. J. March 30, 1925. Foot scrapers.-A boot-scraper of box-like construction has a two-part lid 12 with a brush on the underside of each part, the brushes being completely shut in when the lids are closed. Securing lugs 19 for the brushes and scraping edges 17 for the sides of the boots are provided by shaping the flanges under each lid. The main scraping edges are formed by the top edges 10 of the box, and the angle-iron corners of the box are splayed at the bottom to providesecuring lugs 29.
