Abstract

253,248. Page, S. E., (Parker, H. F.). March 25, 1925. Fumes, moistening. -The exhaust gas of the internal-combustion engines used on aircraft is cooled by spraying with water. A pipe 3 delivers the exhaust gas to a chamber 4 containing water sprays 30. The Provisional Specification describes an arrangement in which the pipe 3 is tangential to the chamber 4.
