Connections; gas exits; liquid-level indicators, applications of.-An accumulator is provided with a tubular connecting lug l which serves as a filling aperture and gas exit and as means for the introduction of a pipe or other device for in. dicating the level of the electrolyte. To enable the lug to be used for these purposes it is provided as shown in Fig. 2 with two or more openings a, b situated above and below the electrolyte or with a slot c as shown in Fig. 3 extending above and below the electrolyte.
