Abstract

249,274. Vsehrdsky, P. Slechta-. Feb. 3, 1925. Equipments for carrying purposes.-A carrier for use in transporting machine guns and like heavy loads is provided with two marginal knapsacks 4. The carrier comprises a stiff sheet 1 of vulcanized fibre &c. covered with fabric and supported on a rod framework 11. The load is secured to a hook 2 and supported on a block or plate 3. A strap 5 is provided for securing the load. The carrier is fixed to the back of person by means of straps 8 and a belt 9 which also forms a resilient bearing surface for the back of the wearer.
