248,621. Hartung, A. G. July 10, 1925. Tread bands.-The side chain 3 of a non-skid device is tightened by inward radial adjustment of shackles 4 embracing adjacent ends of chains 1 which are hooked at intervals to the chain 3. The shackles 4 are fitted with rollers bearing on the chains 1.
