Electric appliances; heating appliances; radiations, treating diseases with. - A vessel 1 containing hot water is provided with a porous bottom and an electrode 5 dipping into the water. The vessel encloses a chamber 9 filled with minerals containing niobium and rubidium the radiations from which pass into the water. The chamber 9 is surrounded with cotton 11 enclosed in an upstanding part 6 of the vessel 1 which is perforated at 7 and 8. The porous bottom of the vessel is formed by cloth layers 12, 13. When the appliance is in use the electrode 5 is connected to an induction coil and the bottom 13 of the vessel placed in contact with the skin at the desired part.
