Clips, spring wire.-A holder for a label, ticket or show-card l consists of a piece of wire or other elastic material bent, stamped, moulded or otherwise fashioned to form two approximately parallel shanks ; and two hook-shaped clips c, the clips or shanks or both being connected by a bridge-piece e. Each shank or clip may be straight, bent or corrugated and each clip and its corresponding shank are movable relatively in the same plane so that, at the points of contact formed by curves f in each clip or shank, pressure is transferred directly through the label to the corresponding shank or clip. According to modifications, the bridge-piece encloses the shanks: a projection, loop, hook or catch is provided on one or each clip, shank or end of the bridge-piece to lock together the clips and shanks; the ends of the wire are united by twisting or hooking together or by a separate connection such as a piece of wire or sheet metal.
