Abstract

244,833. British Thomson-Houston Co., Ltd., Young, A. P., and Salisbury, A. G. Sept. 25, 1924. Cases.-A moulded battery box having a metal reinforcement such for example as described in Specification 208,035, is provided with means for securing the reinforcement to a support and permitting angular adjustment between them. As shown in plan in Fig. 2, the reinforcement 3 in the wall of the box 2 is formed with a cylindrical projection 4 upon which a plate 6 is mounted and secured by studs 7 which screw into holes in segmental pieces 5 on the reinforcement 3. The studs 7 pass through slots in the plate 6 whereby the latter can be moved angularly about the projection 4. The plate 6 is provided with a member 11 which with a member 10 and bolts and nuts 12, 13 serves to clamp the box to a support 9.
