Abstract

243,210. Kohnle, F. Feb. 23, 1925. Ticket fastenings.-Tags are secured upon material by threading a pin longitudinally through the tag and material and crimping the pin to restrain withdrawal. The tag 4 and the material are bent between an anvil-headed plunger 8 and a die plate 7 so that the head of the pointed and headed pin inserted by a push hammer 12 is accessible from the face side of the tag and the body of the pin again passes to the face of the tag. The end of the pin is bent into or below the tag again and crimped to anchor it to the tag by the base of a recess 9 and a guide plate 14. The head of the pin may be locked by engagement in an aperture 13 in the tag.
