Abstract

A toilet seat clamp unit includes attachment means for attaching the unit to a toilet bowl, three plastic arms 4 open out and lock toilet seat and lid to the bowl. The seat and lid can be removed easily for cleaning purposes. A cam lever 6 pulls a centre pin 3 to expand the arms and secure the unit.

Description

Toilet Seat Clamp This invention relates to a device for clamping a toilet
seat and lid to a toilet bowL The arms and centre pin are round in shape and arc bo bigger than the holes in the toilet bowl lbr a snug fit The top of the invention is larger than the holes and can be made out of any material, for the arms and centre pin I would use hard plastic. As you put the anna into the holes push the hinged locking key down and the pin moves upwards and opens the arms and locks the toilet seat and the lid into position. When you need to remove the anus close and the seal and lid may be removed easily, this means there are no boils or nuts to rust, no housing amund toilet and it is easy to clean round the bowl where dirt can gather.

No.1 of drawing is Toilet Bowl, No.2 is the gap in the hole in the Toilet, there is to be 1cm clearance for clamp to fit snugly into hole. No.3 is centre pin I unit. No.4 is arms 3 units. No.5 is split in arm letting arms open and close. No.6 is hinged locking clip I unit No.7 is rubber sucker for over hole I unit. No. 8 is hinge fr holding Toilet seat and lid I unit No.9 is hingepin for lifling centre pin to open arms. There are two clamps needed for each Toilet.

Claims (5)

1. A toilet seat clamp unit comprising attachment means for attaching the unit to a toilet bowl, the attachment means comprising a plurality of arms, a centre pin, a locking clip, upper housing for toilet bar to hold a seat.
2. A toilet seat clamp unit according to Claim 1, chracterised in that the attachment means comprises three arms.
3. A toilet seat clamp unit according to either one of Claim I & 2, characterised in that the upper housing is provided with a hole for the toilet bar.
4. A toilet seat clamp unit according to anyone of the Claims 1 to 3, characterised in that a rubber sucker is provided to stop dirt dropping down a hole in the bowl and stabilises the unit.
5. A toilet seat clamp unit according to any one of the preceding characterised in that the centre pin may be moved up or down to open and close the arms to lock and unlock the seat and a lid to the bowl.
