Abstract
243,047. Dessau, M. M. Aug. 14, 1924. Coated and impregnated boxes.-Match boxes or the materials from which they are made are waterproofed by coating or impregnating with rubber latex or emulsion, the boxes or materials being subsequently vulcanized by a cold process. An accelerating agent, such as diphenyl-guanidine may be incorporated, and preferably the vulcanizing is further accelerated by heat treatment at a temperature of 75‹-90‹ F.
