Hair and head, special drying-appliances for.- In apparatus for drying the hair of the head by means of hot air, a conical air distributing member i is located within an outlet mouthpiece or cup h. The tube or tubes f, f<1> for supplying the air may be articulated by means of a ball-andsocket joint d, g to the air supply junction a at one end and to the mouthpiece h at the other end, springs s, k being preferably used to support the tubes against the junction and mouthpiece. The air inlet b is connected to any suitable source of hot air. The tubes f, f<1> are preferably telescopic, and a clamp e is provided to attach the apparatus to a stand. A single mouthpiece h with a cone i may be attached to an air blower of any type.
