241,995. Rand, F. R., and Rand, E. T. Aug. 1, 1924. Spring wheels. - The outer rim B of a spring wheel slides between side plates C. C<1> on the wheel body A, and, as shown in Fig. 1, is retained in position relative to the wheel body, by nested radial springs R fitted between flanged shoes P carried by the rim B and wheel body A, and by springs S fitted between outward projections D on the wheel body and inward projections B<1> on the rim B. The radial spring means may comprise two series of nested springs side by side.
