Abstract
241,641. Hiller, E. G. July 29, 1924. Conveyer apparatus, injector.-A water circulator, especially intended for use with fuel economizers or feed water heaters, comprises a pipe having nozzles arranged to extend longitudinally therein, one within the other, in the direction in which the water flows through the pipe, and means for conducting a supply of water from one source to the annular conduit between the nozzles and a supply of water from another source to the inner nozzle and the space around the outer nozzle. Cold water may be pumped in at f, Fig. 2, its flow through an annular nozzle j inducing the flow of warm water which enters the pipe by a non-return valve and is divided between a nozzle k and the space around the nozzle j. The water connections may be reversed. Fig. 3 shows a modified construction wherein one stream is divided outside the apparatus.
