Abstract

241,370. Fulton, C. Sept. 27, 1924. Addition to 194,756. Measuring consumption of fuel with respect to speed of motors.-Apparatus according to the parent Specification is modified by providing the graduations upon shallow drums upon flat dials. A pointer d actuated by the flow-meter mechanism moves over " gallonsper-hour " graduations on a fixed drum a, and a drum b actuated by the speedometer is moved past a fixed pointer c, thus giving a " miles-per-hour " indication, and also a " miles-per-gallon " indication against the movable pointer d. Separate scales may be arranged on the drum b.
