Rotary strainers.-In a filter according to the parent Specification, the straining rings are formed in segments a spaced apart by lugs b which also extend inwardly or outwardly so as to be clamped by channel-section bars c. The bars c may be secured by bolts passing through the lugs b or through lugs on end-plates f. Alternatively, rods may be passed endwise through holes in the lugs and secured by nuts at the ends.
