Air tubes.-To prevent bursts, a reinforcement 2 of hard rubber, fabric, metal, or other material is fitted to the tread portion of an air-tube a tyreclamping bead 3 of similar material being fitted to the opposite side of the tube. The bead 3 extends above the height of the rim flanges, and engages the edges of the cover in the deflated condition of t.he tube.
