Abstract
The belt end of the load belt (1) configured as a flat belt is placed directly or indirectly around the holding component (pin 2) forming a loop and is guided into a sleeve (4) pushed over the load belt (1) or is guided through the sleeve, the sleeve (4) being pressed onto the two belt sections of the load belt (1) arranged inside the sleeve (4). The insides of the sleeve (4), which are provided for engagement with the belt sections of the load belt (1), preferably have surfaces which produce an interlocking fit. An insert (6) may also be arranged between the two belt sections of the load belt (1) arranged inside the sleeve (4), which insert has surfaces producing an interlocking fit, which are adjacent to the belt sections of the load belt (1).
Description
241 1 220 Fastening device for a belt end of a load belt The invention
relates to a fastening device for a belt end of a load belt, in particular a load belt provided to actuate a load lifting apparatus of an industrial truck.
It is known from DE 102 25 080 C 1 to actuate a vertically movable load lifting apparatus of an industrial truck with the aid of a belt.
The present invention is based on the object of providing a compact fastening device for a belt end of a load belt of an industrial truck, which is simple and therefore economical to assemble.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the belt end of the load belt configured as a flat belt is placed directly or indirectly around a holding component forming a loop and is guided into a sleeve pushed over the load belt or is guided through it, the sleeve being pressed onto the two belt sections of the load belt arranged inside the sleeve.
The fastening device according to the invention only needs a small amount of space, so the viewing conditions in the region of the fastening device are not substantially impaired. Assembly is very simple; only a pressing tool is required with which the sleeve is pressed onto the load belt.
The loading capacity of the fastening device may be increased by an advantageous development of the invention, according to which the insides of the sleeve which are provided for engagement with the belt sections of the load belt, in each case have a surface producing an interlocking fit.
In the process, the respective surface is provided with, for example, saw tooth-like transverse profiles transverse to the longitudinal extension of the load belt, the transverse profiles digging into the belt sections of the load belt when the sleeve is pressed. An interlocking connection is thus created in addition to a friction-type connection.
It is also favourable in this context, if an insert is arranged, as an alternative or in addition, between the two belt sections of the load belt arranged inside the sleeve, the insert having surfaces producing an interlocking fit, which are adjacent to the belt sections of the load belt. The areas involved in the transmission of force are thereby doubled.
The insert may be configured, for example, as a profiled metal sheet.
A wedge-shaped filler piece, for example, which is in operative connection with the holding component, is arranged in the loop in a development of the invention. The introduction of force from the loop of the load belt into the holding component is optimised by the geometry of the filler piece.
The holding component is expediently designed as a pin which is located in a hole in the filler piece.
Moreover, it is also possible for the insert and the filler piece arranged in the loop to be connected to one another to achieve assembly advantages (fewer individual parts) and therefore a cost saving.
Further advantages and details of the invention will be shown in more detail with the aid of the embodiment shown in the schematic figures, in which: Figure 1 shows a lateral view of a fastening device according to the invention together with a section through the fastening device; and Figure 2 shows a lateral view of a variant of the fastening device together with a section through the variant of the fastening device.
The fastening device according to the invention is provided to connect a load belt 1 configured as a flat belt to a holding component 2, which in the present example is configured as a pin which is located on a bracket 3 of a load lifting apparatus or a vehicle frame of a industrial truck. It is obvious that the two belt ends of the load belt can be fastened in the manner according to the invention.
The belt end of the load belt 1 is formed into a loop and guided through a sleeve 4 which is pushed over the load belt 1 in the region above the loop. Therefore, two belt sections of the load belt 1 are located inside the sleeve 4.
The sleeve 4 is pressed onto the two belt sections which have been guided through, so the loop is non-detachably secured. To optimise the introduction of force from the load belt 1 into the pin-shaped holding component 2, a wedge-shaped filler piece 5 is located inside the loop of the load belt 1. The filler piece 5 is provided with a hole, in which the holding component 2 is arranged.
The insides of the sleeve 4 which, owing to pressing, engage with friction-type fit with the belt sections of the load belt 1, preferably each have a surface, with which an interlocking fit is produced, and at least the interlocking fit is improved.
In order to achieve a good interlocking fit, the respective surface of the inside of the sleeve can be provided with a suitable transverse profiling which digs into the belt sections of the load belt when the sleeve 4 is pressed.
In a configuration of the load belt with steel cores and PU-coating, the transverse profiling of the inside of the sleeve can thus penetrate the PU- coating and come into force-transmitting contact with the steel cores.
In the configuration variant of the fastening device according to Figure 2, an insert 6 is arranged between the two belt sections of the load belt 1 arranged inside the sleeve 4 and may also be provided with surfaces producing an interlocking fit and is preferably configured as a profiled metal sheet. In contrast to the view in Figure 2, it is also possible for the insert 6 and the filler piece 5 arranged in the loop to be connected to one another (for example configured together in one piece) and this simplifies assembly.
