Forming vacuumflasks.-Relates to the method of producing vacuum flasks in which the outer vessel b, Fig. 5, is blown to shape and after detachment from the blowpipe, the neck is sealed off and allowed to sink inwards, as shown in Fig. 6, the sunk portion being afterwards expanded to form the inner vessel. According to the present invention, the sunk portion, before being expanded, is filled with molten glass a, Fig. 7, sufficient to form the inner vessel.
