Abstract

239,813. Banks, P. K. May 28, 1925. Vehicle lamps; lighting, systems of.-A vehicle lamp comprises a main electric lamp bulb 2 situated on the centre line of the main reflector 1 and an auxiliary bulb 5 with a. supplementary reflector 4 located within the main reflector and below and to one side, preferably the near side, of the main bulb and close to the front glass 3, a hole being formed in the main reflector for the passage of the leads 6 to the auxiliary bulb. The supplementary reflector may be tilted or otherwise designed to reflect the auxiliary beam of light slightly more downwardly than the main beam, and switching means may be provided whereby either or both bulbs may be illuminated.
