Capsules.-An ampulla 1, from which a liquid medicament may be easily withdrawn, is provided at one end with a tubular extension 3 adapted to accommodate and watertightly guide the cylindrical body of a piston syringe 7. The partition 4 between the ampulla and the extension 3 is curved upwardly and carries a breaking lever 5, which extends into a cap 12. In use, the thin glass cover 11 which normally seals the syringe in place, is removed, the cap 12 is broken off, the lever 5 is moved to one side and thereby broken and the liquid is drawn into the syringe, which is then withdrawn from the extension and is ready for use.
