Abstract

A waterproof cover (1) is provided to place over the top and sides of an outdoor rotary clothes line. The cover may be releasably attached to the arms of the rotary clothes line using quick release fittings. The cover may be supported on a framework of flexible poles (2). The cover may be made from plastic or a waterproofed canvas material. A plurality of zip fastenings (3) provides access to the clothes line allowing garments to be hung or removed. The unzipped portions of the cover may be held in the open position by toggles(4).

DESCRIPTION

WHIRLY UMBRELLA

This invention relates to a waterproof whirly umbrella which will fit any standard outdoor rotary drier (whirly line).

Standard outdoor rotary drier (whirly line) suffers from the disadvantage that, when we have an unexpected change in the weather (i.e. rain) clothes which are hanging out to dry get wet.

An object of this invention is to provide a waterproof covering which allows clothes hanging out to dry to remain on the outside rotary drier, even when its raining.

Accordingly, this invention provides a waterproof umbrella which is attached to the arms of an outside rotary drier (whirly clothes line), this provides a full waterproof covering over the top and sides of the rotary drier (whirly clothes line).

Preferably the whirly umbrella is made of plastics, metal, canvas and nylon or from a combination of these materials.

The invention will now be described with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: As shown in Figure 1, the whirly umbrella comprises a waterproof covering 1 which is supported by flexible poles 2, these poles are held in place by quick release attachments to the arms of any outside rotary drier (whirly clothes line).

The zip 3 on all four sides allows access to the washing line, when the zip is undone the waterproof canvas can be opened and attached by toggles 4 to allow uninterrupted access to the washing line.

1. A Whirly waterproof umbrella which is attached to the arms of an outside rotary drier (Whirly clothes line), This provides a full waterproof cover over the top and sides of the rotary drier (Whirly clothes line).

2. A Whirly waterproof umbrella as in claim 1. Where access to the Whirly washing line is via a zip which opens the water proof umbrella to provide space to hang or remove any garments to or from the rotator drier (whirly washing line).

3. A Whirly waterproof umbrella as claim in any proceeding claim, which is made from plastics, metal, canvas and nylon, or from a combination of these materials.

4. 1Y waterproof rotary clothes line cover substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.

4. A Whirly waterproof umbrella as claim in any proceeding claim, which has quick release attachments and is compact and lightweight for easy storage.

5. A Whirly waterproof umbrella attachment substantially as herein described and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
