Abstract

238,745. Meynell, H. Nov. 3, 1924. Collision guards for vehicles comprises a front member in resilient connection with a continuous, rigid rear member attached to the framework of the vehicle. A bar d is attached to a rigid bar c, which is secured to the chassis side-bars by arms b, by means of springs hand bolts e slidable in the bar c. The bar d may be covered with rubber k or like material and stronger springs h without bolts e may be placed at the ends of the bar c.
