Abstract

195,289. Millberg, L., and Millberg, V. May 1, 1922. Wheel guards.-A guard for the rear end of a motor vehicle comprises a pair of rearwardly extending arms, and a transverse horizontal buffer bar secured at points intermediate of its ends to the rear ends of the arms and having its ends secured to the rear mudguards. The arms 10 are secured at their inner ends to the chassis and offset at 11, the outer ends being attached to a transverse bar 13 offset at 14 and twisted at 15 to lie flat against the mudguards 7 to which it is riveted.
