Cameras, collapsable reflex, - A folding reflex camera has two collapsable solid side-walls B, C, each made of three or more sections b<1>, b<2>, b<3>, c', c<2>, c<3>, hingedly interconnected, the section or sections b<2>, c<2>, between the two end sections of each side wall taking up a position between said end sections on folding up the camera. In the form shown, the hinged connections of the end sections to the objective board and camera back are provided with springs, tending to open the camera out, the springs l, n at the back being stronger than those. k, m at the objective board end to facilitate locking in the extended position, which is effected by the engagement with members h on the sections b<2>, c<2> of a supporting frame i for the reflex mirror frame. Locking may also be effected by the mirror frame itself. The side walls then bear closely against the frame a of the ground glass screen, their connecting hinges d, e, f, g, being all on the inside.
