Abstract
236,605. Green, A. Oct. 15, 1924. Refrigerating, compression machines for; icemaking, mould apparatus for; refrigerators, domestic and like.-The electric driving motor, the compressor, the condenser 6 and the expansion valve 7 of a machine employing sulphur dioxide are mounted on a base plate 3 on the top of a cabinet 4, with the evaporator coil 2 depending into a brine tank 1 below the base plate. The parts outside the cabinet are covered b a hood 11. In a modification, the machine is supported on a shelf at the side of the cabinet, the brine tank projecting horizontally into the interior and being fitted with horizontal compartments for the usual ice trays.
