Abstract

235,061. Lezert, E. A. Sept. 22, 1924. Cam gears.-The cylinder head 12 is provided with a perforated carbon cup into which water is fed from a tank 17 by a cam-operated lift valve 15, and vaporized by a sparking-plug. The exhaust is controlled by a cam-operated lift valve 16. The cams operate the valves through tappets 43, 44 carried on levers 38, 39 operated by push rods 35, 36 respectively.
