Driving steering-wheels; transmission gear between separate axles; free-wheel gearing.-In a vehicle in which all four wheels are driven a differential gear is provided for each axle and one of the differentials is driven through a freewheel clutch. The front wheels on the axle a are driven directly through a differential gear f<2> from a chain wheel r. The rear differential h<2> is driven from a sleeve i<2> of the chain wheel through a free-wheel clutch p, bevel gearing o<1>, a longitudinal universally-jointed shaft s and bevel gearing o. The rear axle is turned about a pivot t for steering.
