Double and multiple hinges; pivoting adjustments.-A pivoted adjustable support comprises a bracket arm 11, a supporting arm 20 and an intermediate section 13 having longitudinal manually operable thrust elements adapted to close the split collars 37, 38 around the bearings 12, 19 and hold the arms 11, 20 in adjusted position. The thrust elements comprise plugs 51 engaged by the wedge 55 and the transversely movable wedge 56, and also wedge members 46 which engage inclines 44 on the split collars. The length of each thrust element is adjustable by means of the screw 47 and bolt 48, and the supporting arm 20 is made removable and interchangeable by providing a headed screw 22.
