Abstract

232,748. Freeman, J., and Ralph, W. March 19, 1924. Bristles, fixing.-Each folded tuft of bristles is fixed in the brush stock by a self-expanding fastener B of half-hexagon or truncated V-shape or of tapering U-shape, which is inserted in the stock in a hole having an annular inclined undercut recess. Examples of different forms of the hole are shown in Fig. 3. Specification 11410/03 is referred to.
