Abstract

232,128. Ross, R. J. Oct. 27, 1924. Brackets, electric-lamp, oil-lamp, and candle. -A spring-clip comprises two preferably stamped sheet-metal members 1 hinged together by a pin 3 passed through side lugs 4, the ends 1<a> of the members being pressed together by a spring 5 for attachment to a table 13, mirror, &c., and the free ends being bent round to form sockets 12 and having openings 9, 11 at right-angles in offset portions 8, pressed out of the metal, into which sockets or openings the stem 10 of a candle or lamp holder can be inserted. The members 1 are formed with a groove 7. The ends 1<a> are covered with a rubber or other sheath 6, the surface of which may be provided with projections. Specification 162,122 is referred to.
