Trouser-presses.-The upper board 1 of a trouser-press is provided with a separate board 2 adapted to press ties between it and the board 1, for which purpose bolts 5 with wing nuts 6 are pivoted to the board 1 and engage slotted bars 3 on the board 2. Alternatively, pressure may be applied by hinged or movable spring plates provided with holes or slots for engagement by the pivoted screws.
