Abstract

230,249. Jones, J. H. Feb. 22, 1924. Mountings ; waste liquid. catching and returning.-A fitting for mounting a pump X on an oil drum &c. Y comprises a plate A having a boss A<1> through which the pump passes, and means such as jaws C and nuts E for attaching it to the edge of the drum. The jaws may be mounted in radial slots A<4> A<5>, A<7> to permit of adjustment to drums of various sizes. Drips from the pump may be returned to the drum through a port A<9> in the boss A<1>. The pump may be clamped in the boss by a band F provided with screw-threaded ends F<1> which pass through holes A<8> and carry nuts G for tightening the band.
