A fencing or partitioning system comprises posts B with longitudinal grooves D into which are fitted the dowel-like end portions of laths or sheets A. Spacers C may be employed between adjacent laths or sheets. <IMAGE>

Description

DESCRIPTION The concept of Quantum style fencing was brought about to allow the user, whether in a domestic, industrial or building/construction environment, to erect a fence, channelling system, barrier or partition,using the Quantum "slotted post and dowelled end" system.
Should damage occur to a cross member, whether in the form of a lath or sheet, it is much more simple to replace a small section of Quantum style fence products than standard fence panels, because only the damaged section of the panel need be replaced.
The Quantum system is suitable for fabricating any material strong enough to serve the users purposes. It can be adapted for use indoors with the use of a suitable stand to secure the posts, or alternatively, outdoors by supporting the posts in any way the user desires.
The Quantum system can be adapted to cover screening systems, safety systems or toy manufacture or any other construction or design the fixing system is suitable for.

Claims (1)

  1. This is intended to allow the user the facility of "curving" the product along a desired course whether it be a straight course or a bend or curved, even a round course, to suit his or her needs. Along side this benefit, the use of "spacers" will allow the user to design the product to his or her individual requirements and height, eg very small "spacers" will create an almost solid structure whilst long "spacers" will give an open aspect to suit particular designs. This gives the user a much greater freedom of use to vary the system to their own requirement or needs.
