Abstract

An adhesive for uniting textile threads, particularly as required in connection with the machine described in Specification 203,882, [Class 145 (ii), Wood, Working], comprises a solution in ether-alcohol of nitrocellulose having a nitrogen content of 11.5-12 per cent; small amounts of a methyl compound, such as methyl orange, and of a resinous substance, such as sandarac, may be added. An example of suitable proportions is given.
