Abstract

The tips of the gloves above the joint of the thumb and above the upper or the lower joints of the fingers are knitted with a basic thread and a reinforcing thread so that the gloves are stronger. The gloves have the same flexibility as conventional gloves, are reversible and are capable of handling small and delicate goods or materials. The glove's wrist 3 is knitted with an elastic cord and the remaining portions of the glove are knitted with the basic thread alone. <IMAGE>

Description

KNIT GbOVES BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention: The present invention relates to an improvement of strength of knit gloves.
2. Prior Art: Conventional knit gloves each comprises finger portions, a palm portion, a back portion respectively knitted in this order toward a wrist portion by a single or a plurality of threads and the wrist portion knitted by an elastic cord.
Accoroingly, the palm portion is not differentiated from the back portion, which enables him to wear his right glove to his left hand or his left glove to his right hand, namely, the plam side and the back side of the gloves are reversible.
It is very convenient that the gloves can be retlaceable with each other when they are soiled or portions are liable to be damaged, for example, the finger portions are opener curing usage thereof. To solve this portions are liable to be damaged, for example, the finger portions are opener curing usage thereof. To solve this problem, he palm portion incl'zding the finger portions of the gl@oes are coated with rubber. However, the gloves are stiff and inflexible, which is not adapted for handling small and delicate goods or materials.
In view of the problems set forth above, there is a demand for the gloves having strong and flexible finger portions adapted for handling such small and delicate goods or materials.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION Knit gloves of the present invention comprises finger tip portions extending from the joint of a thumb to the tip end thereof and extending from the upper or the lower joint of other remaining fingers to the tip ends thereof respectively knitted by a plurality of bundled threads, remaining portions of the fingers, a palm, a back respectively knitted in this order by a single thread and a wrist knitted by an elastic code.
With the arrangement of the gloves set forth above, the joints of thumbs and the upper or lower joints of other remaining fingers become thicker than other remaining portions so that the gloves are stronger than the conventional gloves. The gloves have the same flixibility as the conventional gloves. Furthermore, the gloves are capable of handling the small and delicate goods or materials with ease and reversible, which are adapted for various purposes.

A knit glove 6b comprises finger tip portion la extending from the joint of the thumb to the tip end thereof and the finger tip portions 1b extending from the upper joints of other remaining fingers to the tip ends thereof respectively knitted by the basic thread t and the reinforcing thread 5, other remaining finger portions 7b, a palm potion 8, a back portion 9 which are respectively knitted in this order toward a wrist by the basic thread d alone and the wrist 3 knitted by an elastic cord to increase the flexibility.
Knit gloves according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to Figs. 3 to 7.
A finger tip portion 1a extending from a joint of a thumb to the tip end thereof and finger tip portions 1c exentending from lower joints of the remaining fingers to the tip ends thereof are knitted by a plurality of threads unwound from a plurality of bobbin windings, namely, z reinforcing thread 5 and a basic thread 4 are unwound from the bobbin windings and bounded so as to knit these portions. The remaining porton 2 excepting a wrist 3 is knitted by the basic thread .
A knit glove 6c comprises the finger tip portion la of the thumb and the finger tip portions 1c of the remaining fingers respectively knitted by the basic thread 4 and the reinforcing thread 5, other remaining finger portions 7c, 7b, a palm potion 8, a back portion 9 which are respectively knitted in this order toward a wrist by the basic thread 4 alone and the wrist 3 knitted by an elastic cord to increase the flexibility.
