Abstract

224,123. McPhail, D. S., and Pastorius, J. E. Jan. 14, 1924. Roller bearings.-To take end thrusts, alternate rollers 7 have flanges 6 which engage grooves in the races and in adjacent rollers 8, and one of the adjacent rollers 8 is in two or more parts C, B, Fig. 3, to facilitate assembly. The ends of the flanged and grooved rollers, which may be conical, are of the same diameter and are in contact with both races. The inner race may be integral with the shaft.
