Abstract

223,147. Tweed, E. C. April 3, 1924. Drying and airing clothes.-Clothes are dried and aired in a chamber which is divided into upper and lower compartments by a slotted plate 4, Fig. 1. Air enters the lower compartment through the openings 7, is heated by the burner 2, and passes over the baffle 3 and through the slotted plate into the centre of the upper compartment which it leaves through the openings 8. A wire tray 9 and sliding carriers 11. Fig. 4, formed with prongs 12 for supporting the cloths are provided in the upper compartment.
