Abstract

222,657. Johnson, F. A. L. Sept. 20, 1923. Wind and like screens. - In screens with pivotally mounted side panels the connecting links are rotatably mounted at both ends on the frame uprights 6 carrying the panels, the upper links 7 being secured at one end by a nut 8 with a shank 8<b> which, when the nut is screwed down, engages within a slot 6b in the link. In the arrangement shown in Fig. 3, the upper and lower links are integral with a metal strip 10 t'hat serves to cover the gap between adjacent panels.
