384,682. Thermostats. GENERAL PLATE CO., 34, Forest Street, Attleboro, Massachusetts, U.S.A. June 10, 1931, No. 25403/32. Convention date, June 26, 1930. Divided on 384,673. [Class 64 (ii).] A bimetallic strip 25, Fig. 2, is provided with transverse corrugations and is fixed at the ends 24, 27 to a frame having an opening through which the strip may be deflected. A reinforcing strip 30 may act as an electric contact and prevent excessive flexibility of the strip at its central portion. The corrugated material may be produced by passing a tube of the composite material 14 between corrugated rollers.
