Resistance grids. - In resistance grids made from sheet metal by slitting alternately from opposite edges, the metal 11 uniting each pair of strips 13 is drawn up or shortened, as by stamping or pressing projections 14 thereon, so that the slits 12 are opened into a V form. The projection are arranged alternately on opposite sides of the sheet so that insulated reinforcing metal strips 16 are held in position by the projections.
