Abstract

336,994. Kemble, T. S. July 22, 1929. Resistance grids.-An electric resistance censists of a corrugated metal ribbon gripped between corrugated plates of enamelled metal &c. so that the ribbon is exposed to the air in the spaces between the corrugations of the plates. The lower bends of each plate 3 are recessed as shown at 4 to fit the upper bends of the next lower plate and grip the resistance ribbon 2 which is wound to and fro between successive plates as shown.
