Abstract

Illumination, changing advertisements by controlling; reel and non-endless web apparatus.- An advertising or displaying device changing according to its illumination by reflected or transmitted light comprises one or more pairs of roller blinds, the front blinds C being perforated and bearing advertising or other matter and the rear blinds D being semi-transparent or transparent and bearing different advertising or other matter. Two sets of such blinds may be arranged in zigzag form in order to show different advertisements when viewed from different directions. The front blinds, instead of being of perforated opaque material, mav be of celluloid or the like with opaque markings on which advertising matter is picked out. The front and rear blinds may be pasted together, or a blind may have one set of advertising matter on the front and another at the back.
