Maps.-In advertising devices of the type in which a map divided into sections is combined with a framework containing advertisements which are marked so that the position of the advertiser &c. caa be readily ascertained on the map, the advertisements are received in channel members 21, 22, one or both sides of the lower channel 22 being of less depth than the sides of the upper channel 21 to enable the advertisements to be retained by being slipped into the upper channel and allowed to fall into the lower channel. The advertisements may be on a sheet of paper &c. removably held in two apertured frames 24, 25, one or both of which are flanged to allow them to be nested frictionally or resiliently. The framework may be covered by a door furnished with transparent panels which may be sub-divided by opaque bands, e.g. of paint, which hide the channels 21, 22.
