Head sets. -- The receivers of a headtelephone are supported by a double spring-wire 11 or its equivalent, and the ends of the wires are formed into loops each of which is adapted to hook on to an ear. The double - spring wire 11 may pass under the chin with a wide clearance, and may be a continuous wire bent into the required form. The two wires may be connected together at convenient points, and may form a loop 21 for the passage of the telephone leads. The ends of the loops for the ears are bent inwards as at 14 and arched upwardly as at 15, and the arch 15 may be covered with soft material 22. Each receiver is mounted for rotational movement about pins 17 carried on adjustable sleeves 18. Rotation beyond a limit may be prevented by securing the telephone leads to the support, or by means of a washer secured to the receiver and engaging the sleeve 18 or a washer thereon.
