Abstract
A food plate warmer comprises a body with slots provided for the plates to fit into. Wire heater elements keep the plate compartments warm and temperature control is provided by an electric thermostat. Power supply is by electric current. The plate slots in the plate warmer body have springs located at their base which are either raised or lowered by a plate ejector spring mechanism and lever.
Description
FOOD PLATE WARMER & HEATER
DESCRIPTION
A unique food plate warmer or heater that works by electric current.
The electric current heats wire elements that heat the plates as shown in figure one.
An electric thermostat controls the temperature of the heater wire and hence the temperature of the plate compartments and therefore the temperature of the plates within those compartments.
The body of the plate warmer or heater is divided into slots for the food plates to be put into.
The plates are either raised or lowered by the "Plate" spring ejector mechanism and lever. At the bottom of each plate compartment is a spring that both, is raised and lowered by the plate ejector spring mechanism and also absorbs energy and bounce from plates that might be forcefully placed into the device.
Claims (4)
1. A unique system. A food plate heater that comprises of one or more compartments, each seperate. Each compartment is heated by electric wire elements powered by an electric supply of power. The body of the food plate heater contains an electric heater thermostat to regulate the heat of the wire elements and therefore the heat of the compartments and therefore the heat of the plates. The body of the food plate heater also contains a "Plate Ejector Spring Mechanism that levers the "Plate"
Ejector Springs to eject the plates when they are fully warmed. All as shown in figure One.
2. A unique system. A food plate heater as claimed in claim one wherein cold plates for food are placed in the slots provided in the plate warmer.
The springs located at the base of the heater absorb any bounce from the plates and the "plate" ejector spring mechanism locks the plates down and the lever provided ejects the plates when the user requires to have the plates, as shown in figure one.
3. A unique system. A food plate heater as claimed in claim one or claim two wherein electric energy is supplied to wire heater elements to provide heat for the food plate compartments. An electric thermostat is provided all as shown in figure one. whereby the heater wire elements have their temperature regulated and hence the plates have their temperatures regulated by the user as shown in figure one.
4. A unique system. A food plate warmer and heater as claimed in claim one or claim two or claim three wherein the plates are either raised or lowered by the "Plate" ejector spring mechanism and lever as shown in figure one. Springs are located at the base of each plate compartment which raise or lower the plates by the action of the plate spring ejector mechanism and lever. All as shown in figure one.
These springs also absorb the energy from the plates to prevent breakage if the plates are put forcefully down into the base of the plate heater compartments.
