[Claas 126] In a heated magazine for table plates, the pile of plates rests on a pallet M slidable vertically in a tubular casing A under the action of means such as a spring L so that the plates at the top of the pile are always opposite a lateral opening at the top of the tubular casing. The support K of the spring is adjustable by screws H. There may be guides and rollers for the pallet M. Two or more magazines may be enclosed in an external casing B enclosing heating means, e.g. steam, hot-water, exhaust gases, or electric elements. The spring may be replaced by a plurality of counterweights engaged and disengaged by suspension ropes according to the height of the pallet. Specification 273,402, [Class 18], is referred to.
