Abstract

Partitions in water space. - To promote the water circulation in a Cornish or like boiler, the water space is divided longitudinally into two compartments by a horizontal partition G of such a length that a space is left at each end of the boiler. The partition is formed of plates which mav rest upon arms N secured to the flanges of the furnace flues or upon angle-irons secured to the sides of the flues.
