219,815. Field, E. D. July 31, 1923. Addition to 208,430. Frame construction; springs, arrangement of; push-bars.-A chassis for baby carriages, invalid chairs, &c., comprising a centre section and two U- shaped end sections, as described in the parent 'Specification, is modified by forming each side of the centre section of a number of resilient plates k, Fig. 4, in laminae or one or more above the others. As shown in Fig. 6, the centre section comprises an arched plate l supporting a plate m which carries the axles, a lower plate n being added in some instances. The end sections may comprise parallel bars without transverse ends, and in either case, a detachable transverse bar i, Fig. 2, may be fitted.
