Abstract

219,685. Ezbelent, E. L. July 25, 1923, [Convention date]. Pleating.-Relates to machines for drying and fixing the folds of pleated goods, in which the material is passed between a heated roller 2 and an endless felt 9 passing over a roller 4 and a tension roller 15, and consists in providing the edges of the felt with eyelets 20 and clamps 21 to crimp the edges to cause them to engage reduced end parts 22, 23 of the rollers 4, 15 and thereby counteract the tendency of the felt to shrink and expose the ends of the rollers.
